In a Twitter post, PGH neurosurgeon Ron Baticulon said the hospital is in need of ready-to-eat food, bottled water, bed linen, and pillows.
“For food, bring to Ortoll [building], left side when entering from Taft. For non-food items, bring to Nurses Home, right side when entering from Taft,” Baticulon wrote.
Following the fire that hit part of the UP Philippine General Hospital in the early hours of the morning on May 16, the UP-PGH needs your help.
Meanwhile, PGH Fiscal Services cautioned against unauthorized donation drives.

In a tweet, the University of the Philippines-PGH (UP-PGH) Neurosurgery said all operations scheduled in the next few days are canceled.
“Humihingi po kami ng paumanhin, pang-unawa, at dasal. Salamat po (We apologize, we are asking for understanding and prayers. Thank you),” it wrote.
Meanwhile, the PGH Blood Donor Center announced it will not be accepting blood donors on Sunday.
The UP-PGH Molecular Lab also announced that it will not be receiving outpatient swabbing “until further notice.”
A fire hit the government-run facility early Sunday morning. It reached first alarm at 12:41 a.m. and was raised to the second level at 12:58 a.m.
