Concepcion has accepted Herbosa’s resignation, noting that Herbosa had served the university with “great dedication.” “In your service as Executive Vice President, you have shown how vital this position can be to the governance of the University,” Concepcion wrote in his letter accepting Herbosa’s resignation. But Concepcion noted that “it is imperative that there be consistency and harmony in our relationship as administrators, as well as in our public pronouncements, given that we both represent the larger University community, its spirit, and its interests.”

80 families benefit from community pantry in Mandaue

Being busy UP-Cebu college students did not stop these individuals from helping the community, establishing the Sugbo Community Pantry. Janneloise Baylon, one of its founders, told Sunstar Cebu that they started with a simple meeting in their school organization until one of their friends brought up that they should set up a community pantry in Cebu. At that time, there was still no community pantry in Cebu.

They further said that these giant cloud rat species roamed in the Philippines tens of thousands of years ago. The scientists have made the analysis based on bones and teeth of giant cloud rats. The specias were fluffy and had big, bushy tails and the study has been published in the Journal of Mammology.
