CIDG chief insists due process followed in arrest of journo, others By ANNA FELICIA BAJO, GMA News Published December 14, 2020 2:31pm The Philippine National Police s Criminal Investigation and Detection Group is willing to address if there were alleged irregularities in the police operation that resulted in the arrest of Manila Today editor Lady Ann Salem and six others last week, its chief said on Monday. At a press briefing, Police Major General Joel Napoleon Coronel insisted that due process was observed during the police operation as it was covered by search warrants validly issued by the Regional Trial Court branch 89 of Quezon City.
