Sea of tributes left after death of 31-year-old man in Great Horton Road crash

Tributes left at the scene A SEA of floral tributes has been left in memory of a man killed in a crash on Great Horton Road.  Emergency services were called to the scene, near the University of Bradford, at around 5.45pm on Monday, to reports of a collision between a car and a quad bike. The rider of the quad bike was travelling up Great Horton Road, away from Bradford city centre and there was a collision with a VW Caddy. The 31-year-old male rider, who was known as Kiki or Keeks , suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead a short time later.

Serious accident on road in Bradford | Bradford Telegraph and Argus

1/1 A street on the edge of Bradford city centre was closed this evening after a very serious crash. Emergency services were scrambled to Great Horton Road, near its junction with Claremont, at around 6pm. Police are yet to reveal details of the nature of the incident, but the road was closed in both directions near the University of Bradford. The incident is believed to have involved a quad bike-type vehicle.  One observer described the outcome of the accident as heartbreaking. Accident investigation work took place at the scene for several hours before recovery trucks could be seen taking vehicles away.
