The Federal Government has renewed the appointment of Prof. Darlington Obaseki as Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH). He received the letter of re-appointment for his second term from the Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire in Abuja on Monday. While congratulating him, Ehanire described the renewal of his appointment by President Muhammadu Buhari as an affirmation of performance during his first tenure. Ehanire urged him not to rest on his oars and work harder to exceed his achievements. Obaseki has, since his first appointment as CMD on August 17, 2017 embarked on massive transformation of UBTH’s infrastructure and service delivery.

Our correspondent learnt that Ugieki entered her room and locked the door to avoid issues with her husband.
