PESHAWAR: The protest sit-in of the academic and non-academic staff of different universities continued on fifth on Friday and political leaders and representatives of civil society paid a visit to the protest camp to express solidarity with the protesting employees.
The leadership of the Federation of All Pakistan Universities Academic Staff Association (FAPUASA), including its central president Prof Nek Shafi, Punjab president Prof Abdul Satar, Sindh president Liaqat Ali, Islamabad president Saqlain Shah, and FAPUASA Balochistan President Dr Kaleemullah would visit the protest camp on Monday. During their visit, the next line of action for the universities across the country would be announced.
