Across the country, mob justice is fast becoming a national pastime as people regularly take the law into their hands. Indeed, the increasing rate of abductions in Kwara State has put destitute who wander within the capital, Ilorin, at risk as some of them fall victim of mob action on mere suspicion of being child kidnappers. Not long ago, no fewer than four suspected kidnappers who were alleged to have feigned insanity were killed in mob attacks. Over 30 Nigerians have impersonated to be members of Muaythai Federation of Nigeria (MFN) seeking visa to Egypt for training that was scheduled to have commenced and ended yesterday. The impersonators, now at large have allegedly submitted visa applications and forged letter-headed paper and seal of MFN. President of the Federation, Comrade Paul Egonu, revealed this in an exclusive interview with Tidesports, yesterday, in Port Harcourt. Comrade Egonu explained that the Federation got to know of the development when the impersonators could not answer some questions and provide other requirements needed by the embassy. The MFN, according to him is currently investigating the matter.
