Cathedral Parish School will name Bryan Ott new principal in July

Boice, who is currently principal of Cathedral Parish School, will retire in early July.   Actually, this will be Boice’s second “retirement.”  “After teaching for 16 years and serving as principal at two schools for a total of 21 years, I decided to retire in 2014. But that didn’t last long. Guess I got restless,” she said from her home at World Golf Village. Boice began her career in education at Garrett High School in Garrett, Indiana, where she taught business education classes. After relocating to Florida, she continued her career at Jacksonville’s Bishop Kenney High School where she taught for 16 years. In 1992 she became principal of Resurrection Parish School and in 1999 she served as principal of St. Paul’s Catholic School, both located in Jacksonville.

If it becomes law, this unnecessary legislation will cost Florida taxpayers tens of millions of dollars to implement, potentially have a negative impact on state businesses, and not make Florida any safer.

KPMG appointed Jerry E. Delgado as its office managing partner of its Jacksonville operation. Jerry E. Delgado He will succeed Jim Stepnoski, who is retiring after 31 years with the audit, tax and advisory firm, a news release said.  Delgado is responsible for the direction and growth of the Jacksonville office. He has been with KPMG for 20 years as an audit partner, leading KPMG Private Enterprise. He has worked in a business development capacity, as well as leading audit and non-audit services for companies looking to go public with an initial public offering.  He is involved with the company’s Hispanic Latino Network and the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting.
