UCA TO HOST TWO-DAY VIRTUAL WORKSHOP ‘THE UYGHUR CRISIS AND ISLAM IN EAST ASIA’ The University of Central Arkansas, in collaboration with the Arkansas branch of the National Consortium for Teaching about Asia, will host a two-day, virtual workshop titled “The Uyghur Human Rights Crisis in East Asia.” The public event will take place over Zoom on Friday, April 23, from 6-7 p.m. A teacher workshop will be held Saturday, April 24, from 9 a.m. to noon.
