An Oldham County woman has died after crashing into a tractor trailer on Interstate 71 Monday evening, according to Kentucky State Police.
Reva Annis, 78, was driving in the wrong direction on the I-71 North exit ramp 28 at about 10 p.m., police said. She crashed into the trailer after entering the northbound lane of traffic.
Annis, of La Grange, was taken to the University of Louisville Hospital for treatment of her injuries, according to police.
The Jefferson County Coroner s Office notified state police Tuesday that Annis had died from her injuries.
Police are investigating and say they do not believe drugs or alcohol were a contributing factor to the cause of the crash.
