Dr. Levine obtained his bachelor s in Biology from the University of Connecticut and received his medical degree from the University of Rochester in New York. He completed a residency in internal medicine, including serving as chief resident in his final year, at the University of Vermont. He completed a fellowship in general internal medicine at the University of North Carolina, which emphasized clinical epidemiology, research training, teaching, and administration of educational programs.
