Update: Police searching for 18-year-old in connection with shooting at University Mall Elizabeth Murray, Burlington Free Press UPDATE: South Burlington police are searching for an 18-year-old male in connection with a shooting at the University Mall.  Police have identified Tyshane Smith as the person they believe fired five shots inside the mall during a dispute with someone he knew on Monday evening. Smith is the only person suspected of firing a gun, which was left behind at the scene when he and the rest of the group involved in the dispute fled, police said.  Police are describing Smith as a 6-foot-tall Black man with a thin build. Detectives are working on a variety of leads in locating Smith.
