Prince George Free Press » T wolves struggle at home

What a difference 24 hours makes. On Friday night the University of Northern B.C. Timberwolves men’s basketball team defeated the Langara Falcons 66-61 before coming completely unhinged against the Capilano Blues losing 92-60. “I thought we played hard on Friday and we executed and played well. I was very impressed with the way the guys played,” said T’wolves coach Zane Robison. “We just lost our focus against Cap. I could see it even in the shoot-a-round. We just seemed to lose our focus. Our mental toughness was challenged and I was a little disappointed.” Against the Blues, zone defence the T’wolves were unable to make the most of their chances shooting just 30 per cent from the field. Guard Jari Deustch led the team in scoring with 14 points while Andrew Sturgeon scored 12.
