A micro-pub on the doorstep of a Teesside hospital has been given a pass to sell booze despite noise worries from its neighbours.
An NHS trust has opened two new dedicated recharge hubs to give staff a quiet space to take a break, thanks to the fundraising efforts of Captain Sir Tom Moore and others earlier in the year.
North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust has been given £100,000 through NHS Charities Grants for initiatives to support the wellbeing of its staff, patients and volunteers in wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

The organisation has used the funds to convert rooms at University Hospital of North Tees and University Hospital of Hartlepool into staff recharge hubs, both named the Rainbow Room.
