A couple carried out of a burning home Sunday in the Adirondacks have died at a Syracuse hospital. A fire trapped Ricky A. Gollinger and Lena A. Gollinger inside a house around 10:30 p.m. yesterday in St. Lawrence County, said the New York State Police. After they were rescued from the blaze, the critically injured Gollingers were rushed to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse. The two were pronounced dead at the hospital, troopers said. Ricky Gollinger was 64. Lena Gollinger was 62. Investigators are working to determine what caused the fire. Troopers said there were no immediate signs of foul play.
