Cleveland Institute of Music receives $1 million gift for new full-tuition scholarship

The Cleveland Institute of Music will boost its student scholarships thanks to a new $1 million gift from trustee A. Chace Anderson and his wife, Josie.
The award will be established in the duo s names. Full tuition will be awarded to an outstanding incoming student, according to a recent CIM release.
Officials said it s the latest gift in a string of an uptick of endowment giving, adding that since 2017 they ve received $16.3 million in new pledges and gifts dedicated to CIM s vision for the future of classical music.
