TWO films highlighting multi-million pound construction work set for Bournemouth and Poole hospitals have been released by health bosses. The animated shorts show the various stages of the new builds, which are scheduled to start early next year as part of a £250 million project. Narrated by Dr Isabel Smith, consultant anaesthetist and medical director for strategy and transformation at University Hospitals Dorset (UHD), they give an insight into the development of Poole s new theatres complex and the development of the new maternity, children’s, emergency and critical care unit at the Royal Bournemouth. UHD chief executive Debbie Fleming said: We hope these animations provide an easy reference guide on the major construction work about to begin across our hospital sites.

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines) Ginebra San Miguel recently held the “Ginebra Ako Awards Year 3: Pagkakaisa sa Gitna ng Pandemya” in a virtual awarding ceremony streamed via Ginebra San Miguel s official Facebook page.
Since 2018, the Ginebra Ako Awards has been honoring the hero in every Filipino, and for this year, the award-giving body salutes the COVID-19 heroes in three categories: “Pilipino Ako Award,” individual or organization that emphasized the value of unity in advancing their causes; “Matapang Ako Award,” person or group who went beyond their call of duty in uniting their fellowmen for a common purpose; and “Lalaban Ako Award,” person or institution that used their talent and exemplified excellence in their craft to help those in need.
