SOFIA (Bulgaria), June 2 (SeeNews) - Strong gains in diversified group Industrial Holding Bulgaria [BUL:IHB] and First Investment Bank (Fibank) [BUL:FIB] helped the indices of the Sofia bourse close higher on Wednesday, bourse data showed.
Industrial Holding Bulgaria leaped 8.47% to close at 1.28 levs. A total of 64,368 shares changed hands during the day at an average price of 1.21 levs apiece.
Fibank closed at 1.77 levs, 3.82% higher, in a daily turnover of 3,749 shares.
BSE s blue-chip SOFIX index climbed up 0.97% to 534.77 points.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, rose 1.16% to 120.46 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, went up 1.27% to 577.85 points.

SOFIA (Bulgaria), May 28 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT (BREF) [BUL:BREF] said on Friday that it is proposing to its shareholders to distribute a gross dividend of 0.083 levs ($0.51/0.42 euro) per share for 2020.
Under the proposal, the company will distribute nearly 2.9 million levs as dividend for last year, BREF said in a bourse filing.
BREF shareholders will vote on the proposal at a general meeting scheduled for June 30.
The real estate investment trust distributed a gross dividend of 0.1241 levs per share for 2019.
Earlier this year, the REIT said that it has provisioned 3.7 million levs for its planned dividend payout for 2020.

SOFIA (Bulgaria), May 27 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange s BGREIT index closed at an all-time high 152.19 points following a 0.48% rise on Thursday.
The BGREIT, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, set its previous high, of 151.97 points, on May 20.
The index was mostly supported by a 5.88% jump in the share price of Intercapital Property Development [BUL:ICPD]. The BGREIT was also backed by Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER] and Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT (BREF) [BUL:BREF], which gained 0.40% and 0.25%, respectively.
