Missing Person Squad detectives have today charged a fourth person following the death of Ballarat woman Kobie Parfitt. A 31-year-old Mount Clear woman.
Brendon Prestage, 31, was arrested about 5.45pm yesterday in Kinglake, north-east of Melbourne.
The Wendouree man is charged with one count of murder and appeared at the Melbourne Magistrates Court today. He did not apply for bail.
He will reappear at the Ballarat Magistrates Court on May 5.

Human remains found in a mine shaft last week at Snake Valley in regional Victoria are believed to be Ms Parfitt but are still to be formally identified.
They were found as part of the investigation into the 43-year-old s disappearance.
