Date Time Police lay charges after Ballarat affray Ballarat Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following an affray in Ballarat last month. Detectives, supported by the Public Order Response Team, executed a warrant at a business and residential premise on Sturt Street around 10.45am this morning. The arrest is a result of an alleged brawl at a licensed premises on Mair Street about 9.05pm on Wednesday 30 June. A 25-year-old Alfredton man has been charged with affray, riotous behaviour, assault in company, wilful damage and state false address. He has been bailed to appear at Ballarat Magistrates’ Court on 7 February.
