A skimming device was found at a Marble Falls Stripes convenience store Thursday, Feb. 4, in the 3500 block of U.S. 281, according to the Marble Falls Police Department.
From the outside of the No. 13 pump, there was little indication a skimmer had been installed, but it was there on the inside of the machine between the card reader and the circuit board.

A 32-year-old Horseshoe Bay man is in the Burnet County Jail on 10 charges, after law enforcement said he stabbed his girlfriend, assaulted a police officer, and attempted to run over a man while stealing his pickup truck.
Marble Falls Police Detective Sgt. Aaron Garcia said officers responded to a motel in the 1400 block of Ollie Lane in Marble Falls at about 6:45 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, after a woman reported that her boyfriend had attacked her. When officers arrived, the man identified as Daymon Isaac Pritchard had already fled in a stolen truck, according to Garcia
