A dog named Max is back home and 48-year-old Felipe DeJesus Aguirrecordero is out on bail after allegedly stealing the miniature Yorkshire Terrier in Apple Valley, authorities said.
The Apple Valley Sheriff’s Station received the report of a missing pooch on April 22.
Sheriff Service Specialist Courtney Rodriguez learned the suspect, later identified as Aguirrecordero, asked Max s owner if he could purchase him while at a “celebration of life” in the 12000 block of Indian River Drive in Apple Valley.
A few days later, Max went missing, and the dog s owner learned that Aguirrecordero had recently given his daughter a miniature Yorkie.
