Plots are available at the Shady Nook Recreation Centre, where community development officer Katie Tollis and Mayor Steve Bennett recently visited, as well as the Alice and Fraser Recreation Centre. LAURENTIAN VALLEY – The township is excited to launch its community gardens project.
Laurentian Valley received $17,000 in funding from the County of Renfrew – Social Services Relief Fund for Community Gardens in June 2020, but because of the time required to get things set up, this is the first planting season.
