ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- As the number of COVID-19 cases continues to climb, people in New Mexico are getting ready for an unusual holiday season.
“Historically, over the holidays, people can get sad, people can get down,” said Dr. Jeffrey Katzman, vice chair for Adult Clinical Services, Education and Academic Affairs in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at the University of New Mexico.
According to Katzman, enjoying this holiday season may be rough depending on what you’re expecting.
“And in order to make sure that we’re with our loved ones in a year, we need to limit our interactions which is really difficult,” he said.
