DSB1 students to have one week of distance learning due to lockdown

Article content District School Board Ontario North East (DSB1) is informing parents that due to the Provincial Lockdown on Boxing Day “students will engage in one week of distance learning, starting on Monday, January 4, 2021 (and) will welcome all students back for face-to-face learning on Monday, January 11, 2021.” In a letter to families Director of Education Lesleigh Dye states “On Monday, January 4, 2021, teachers will post work online and will contact their students to welcome them back. Synchronous learning will resume on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. The Policy/Program Memorandum No. 164 outlines requirements for distance learning. We apologize, but this video has failed to load.
