The School District of Manatee County s Food and Nutrition Services Department is providing free meals to children 18 years old or younger throughout spring break.
Spring break is from March 15 to March 19.
Children will receive lunch and a snack.
Meals can be picked up between 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. each day from the mobile feeding bus that will be parked at Freedom Elementary School and Carlos E. Haile Middle School.
The bus will have indoor and outdoor seating to allow children to eat while in air conditioning or under the shade of an awning.

MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. â Kids in Manatee County who are 18 and under can get free lunch and a snack during Spring Break.
The School District of Manatee Countyâs Food and Nutrition Services Department will provide the meals from March 15 through 19.
The lunches will be delivered via three mobile feeding buses at the following locations:
Bus #1
Turner Chapel 12:30 p.m. â 1:15 p.m.
Palmetto Youth Center 1:30 p.m. â 2:30 p.m.
Bus #2
Manatee Mobile Home Park 12:30 p.m. â 1:15 p.m.
Freedom Elementary School/Haile Middle School 1:30 p.m. â 2:30 p.m.

Families in Manatee County will be able to get free meals from the School District of Manatee County s Food and Nutrition Services Department during winter break.
Free meals will be offered to kids who are 18 years old or younger from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 21 and Dec. 28. They will be given meals to last them the week on each of the pick-up days.
Children will receive breakfast, lunch and dinner for each day of the week they are picking up.
Families can pick up the meals at Ballard, Daughtrey, Manatee, Myakka and Samoset elementary schools, Buffalo Creek, Carlos H. Haile and Electa Arcotte Lee Magnet Middle and Lincoln Memorial Academy.

(WWSB) - The School District of Manatee County’s Food and Nutrition Services Department and The School District of Sarasota County’s Food and Nutrition Services will provide children free meals during the District’s Winter Break.
This program is designed to ensure that children have access to nutrition during the time when school breakfasts and lunches are not available and to help ensure that their students have a healthy body and mind for the remainder of the school year. This service is not based on income status, and all children in who are 18 and younger will be able to participate.
