Harayana government on Wednesday has decided to resume regular classes for students of Class 1 and Class 2, beginning March 1, the state government says, as per news agency ANI.
The parents of the students have to submit a consent letter to the school head/ class teacher before sending them to schools. Besides this, parents who want to continue online education can continue to do so.
The Haryana government, today, reopened schools for students of classes 3 to 5. Schools have been asked have to follow all COVID-19 related guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

The Telangana government has decided to reopen schools for classes 6 to 8 starting February 24, Wednesday. The decision was taken following instructions from the Chief Minister, K Chandrashekhar Rao, State Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy said on Tuesday. Physical classes for class 6 to class 8 students can be reopened from February 24 to March 1, Times of India quoted Reddy as saying. The minister also stated that all schools will have to strictly follow Covid-19 guidelines.

The Haryana government on Monday announced that schools will reopen in the state for students of classes 3 to 5 from March 24, Wednesday.
As per an order issued by the Department of School Education on Monday, regular classes for Class 3 to 5 students would be held only for three hours daily from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM amid strict adherence to COVID-19 guidelines and SOPs.
The state government has also assured that online classes for the students will continue along with regular classes. Students who wish to continue their studies through the online mode, as has been imparted to them during the past 10 months, can avail of this facility as before.
