The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) has urged related units to drastically prevent people from flashing laser pointers, flying kites or operating other flying objects near airports, which cause great danger to flight navigation.
The CAAV has had several reports of laser lights played near Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang International Airport in central Da Nang City recently.
In addition, flying kites and drones near the airdromes has been increasing, according to the CAAV.

COVID-19: 30 cases reported on May 11 afternoon
Vietnam documented 30 cases of COVID-19 during the past six hours to 6pm on May 11, with three imported cases and 27 cases among people being quarantined, according to the Health Ministry.
No new clusters were detected in the period.
The national count rose to 3,537, including 528 reported since April 27.
The number of recovered patients reached 2,618. Among active patients, 25 have tested negative for the coronavirus once, 17 twice and 25 thrice.
A total 67,877 people are being quarantined nationwide, with 1,018 in hospitals, 27,641 in designated facilities and 39,218 in their places of residence./.

Over 20 people including six police officers have been quarantined following their direct contact with a woman who tested positive for the novel coronavirus after returning to southern Dong Nai Province from central Da Nang City.
An official from the Dong Nai Department of Health confirmed on Wednesday morning that 23 people have been brought to quarantine facilities after coming into contact with 44-year-old B.T.T..
T. hails from Long Khanh City, Dong Nai Province but lives in Da Nang and works at New Phuong Dong Club in the central city.
