PETALING JAYA: Four new Covid-19 clusters were recorded on Monday (March 8), says the Health Ministry.
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said three of the four clusters were linked to the workplace while another was from the community.
Johor recorded two new clusters - Cyber 72 cluster and Jalan i-Park Tiga cluster - while Kuala Lumpur recorded one new cluster, the Jalan Loke Yew cluster.
All three are workplace clusters.
Terengganu recorded one new cluster, known as the Bukit Bayas cluster, which is a community cluster.
The Cyber 72 cluster was detected in Kulai, Johor, where the index case was found to be positive for Covid-19 on March 4 after a symptomatic individual screening.

The Health director-general said the three new clusters were identified as Lagoon Selatan in Selangor, Jalan Firma Dua in Johor and Jalan Haji Malek in Melaka.

In the Lagoon Selatan cluster, 34 workers of a cleaning company located in Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya, were screened since Feb 27.
So far, 12 of them had tested positive.
In the Firma Dua cluster, the index case tested positive on March 4.
