ACCIDENTS
• Matthew M. Lynos, 27, of Carlinville was treated at Passavant Area Hospital after being injured in a traffic crash at 10:11 p.m. Wednesday on Loomis Lane in Franklin. Lynos was driving south on Outing Club Road when he lost control of his vehicle, hit an incline near a railroad crossing and struck a sign.

ARRESTS, CITATIONS
• A 17-year-old boy was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge at 6:57 p.m. Wednesday after being accused of brandishing a toy gun during an argument on Dunlap Court. He also was arrested on a charge of resisting or obstructing a peace officer after police said he ran from them before being caught in the 200 block of College Avenue. Two other juveniles involved in the altercation a 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy were cited on city ordinance violations for fighting, police said. An adult, Tad M. A Jacksonville man is behind bars after a hit and run accident that sent another man to the hospital Tuesday night.
Jacksonville Police were called to the scene of a traffic accident in the 400 block of S. East St. for a report of a crash, with injuries, involving an unknown vehicle and a motorcycle.
Upon the officer’s arrival, they located a 22-year-old male, who had been driving the motorcycle, lying in the street with injuries. The unknown suspect vehicle had left the scene. The 22-year-old male was transported to Passavant Area Hospital by EMS. Jacksonville Police say his condition was not known at the time of this morning’s press release.
