Heads of governing bodies say govt. releasing funds regularly
The chairpersons of the governing bodies at 12 Delhi University colleges, which are fully funded by the city government, on Saturday alleged administrative irregularities in the colleges.
The chairpersons claimed that teaching and non-teaching employees had not received salaries due to lapses on the part of the respective college administrations.
Prabhanjan Jha, from Aditi Mahavidyala, said: “The government has regularly released grants but teaching and non-teaching staff had to suffer due to the administrative lapses. Often it was found that utilisation certificates (UC) were missing without which the grants for the next quarter cannot be released.”

DU admissions 2020: The Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB) released the eighth cut-off list for admission to weekend colleges for non-regular admissions. Candidates who scored same or more marks than as depicted in the list can apply at the official website du.ac.in from December 26 onwards.
Court disposes of plea seeking direction to pay salary due
The High Court told the Delhi government to continue releasing salaries of the last quarters of the financial year 2020-21 to the colleges affiliated to Delhi University and fully funded by it.
An HC Bench gave the direction on Wednesday on a petition filed by Assistant Professor Udaibir Singh and other staffers of different colleges seeking direction to pay them their salary due for several months.
The petitioners in the case include teachers and staff of Acharya Narendra Dev College, Adita Mahavidyalaya Women’s College, Bhagini Nivedita College, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar College, Indira Gandhi Institute of Physical Education and Sports and Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies.

NCWEB 6th cut-off: The Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB) of the University of Delhi has released its sixth cut-off list for admission to undergraduate courses at its official website du.ac.in. The NCWEB are weekend classes for females. Those who have marks equal to or more than the cut-off are eligible for admission.
