Karachi: Karachi United and Highlanders Football Club have announced to withdraw from the ongoing National Women Football Championship (NWFC) after Syed Ashfaq Hussain Shah’s group refused to hand over Pakistan Football Federation’s (PFF) offices back to the Normalization Committee (NC).
The Ashfaq-led group’s act will lead Pakistan into facing a suspension from FIFA. The two clubs said that they do not support the incident that took place at PFF last weekend and have, hence, decided not to play under the new setup as protest.
