PRCS KP launches awareness drive on Covid vaccination July 2, 2021 PESHAWAR: Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has launched an awareness campaign to mobilise communities on Covid vaccination. A press release said that under the campaign, PRCS has begun awareness sessions, establishing Covid vaccination points in different districts of the province, while distribution of 5,300 hand sanitising bottles for students and officials in schools of Peshawar and Swat has also been initiated. Chairman PRCS Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Lt Gen (r) Muhammad Hamid Khan said the government is fully engaged across the country in the campaign for Covid-19 vaccination, while PRCS is playing its role as an auxiliary body to the government by launching this campaign.

Capital records lowest weekly Covid-19 positivity rate of year - Newspaper

AFP/File ISLAMABAD: All indicators related to Covid-19 are showing positive signs as the capital has reported the lowest weekly positivity ratio of the current year a tenfold reduction in cases in two months. As many as 37 patients were found infected by the virus on Sunday. According to a graph revealed by district health authorities, the positivity rate was 10pc in the second half of April (19 to 25) with 3,425 cases being reported in the entire week. In the last week of May, the number of patients fell to 804, with the positivity ratio recorded at 2.4pc.
