PMLN Government ruined gas sector, wrongly declared LNG as petrol, which cost double: Babar
Islamabad, December 26, 2020 (PPI-OT): Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Petroleum, Nadeem Baber has rejected all negative and speculative reports appearing in sections of the media for the last one-and-a-half months regarding purchase and sale mechanism of Liquefied Natural Gas.
In a series of video tweets, he said the previous government of Pakistan Muslim League-N has introduced the LNG in the country without constructing any storage facility and declared it as petrol, which cost almost double than the locally produced gas. The Special Assistant on Petroleum said in the given scenario, every LNG shipment has to be consumed within four to five days, in the absence of storage facilities for berthing of another cargo ship.

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Secretary Information Marriyum Aurangzeb Saturday slammed a sharp increase in the prices of daily-use items.
In a press release issued here, she said the failed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government had made the survival of people beyond reach. She said eggs had shot to Rs300 a dozen, while a litre of cooking oil had spiked to Rs320. But, she stressed, the selected prime minister Imran Khan should not take notice of the price-hike as every time he did so, he made things worse and the prices soared even further.

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) said in separate statements on Tuesday that Prime Minister Imran Khan had admitted he was incapable to run the government affairs.
PML-N Secretary Information Marriyum Aurangzeb said that a prime minister like Imran Khan, who admitted that he was incapable to do anything, should resign, as the people were committing suicides due to inflation, unemployment and miseries in the country.
Responding to Imran and Fawad Chaudhry’s statements, she said the national economy was not about Jehangir Tareen’s or Amir Kiyani’s profiteering, but survival of 220 million Pakistanis. The bigger problem is not that of the current account deficit, but the deficit of Imran’s mental capacity and honesty.
