JOPLIN, Mo. – A pandemic-era law, could become permanent.
Last week the Missouri legislature sent a bill to Governor Mike Parson’s desk that would allow for the sale of cocktails to-go.
During the pandemic, the ability to offer alcoholic drinks to go helped out club 609 in Joplin promote their business.
“People are responsible, like I said if some people want to have dinner and then take home some alcohol and have it at home, as opposed to making two stops, I think it’ll help people make that decision, and order food and drinks at the same time. I think it’ll help us and the customers,” said Club 609’s manager Steve Williams.

Regenerative Collagen Scaffold Offers Better Options for Reconstruction of Soft Tissue in Surgery
March 4, 2021
Breast conserving surgery, otherwise known as lumpectomy, is performed on nearly 1.3 million breast cancer patients globally, each year. Complete removal of cancerous tissue and preservation of the breast’s shape, appearance, and consistency are central to the patient’s quality of life, post-surgery.
It is extremely challenging for surgeons to predict the cosmetic outcome of such surgeries given variations in tumor size, shape and location, the unpredictable nature of the tissue repair process, and effects of additional therapy. Currently there are no commercial products that allow surgeons to predictably restore, reconstruct, or regenerate soft tissues, such as the breast.
