As the United States attempts to move past the pandemic, many people contend that the vast majority of our fellow citizens must be vaccinated in order to do so. There is, however, an anti-vaccine movement. While many colleges and universities are requiring students, faculty, and staff to be vaccinated, a number of states are considering legislation or executive orders to prohibit such mandates for employees and/or customers.
In this webinar, we will explore the legal risks associated with requiring and not requiring vaccination. Our panel, which includes a management-side attorney, a plaintiffs attorney, a union president, and an HR professional, will specifically examine the different laws that could be invoked to contest vaccine requirements as well as the laws that would potentially make employers liable for not vaccinating.
