Northrop Grumman Corporation was recently awarded a contract from the US Army for XM813 Bushmaster Chain Guns as part of the Stryker Medium Caliber Weapon System 30mm Lethality Upgrade programme.
The base contract and first order call for 95 chain guns with initial deliveries beginning in early 2022. This deal will support enhancements to the XM813 and the integration of the chain guns into an additional US Army Brigade Combat Team.
Israeli company will provide dismounted C2 equipment, software-defined radios and compact night vision systems.
Elbit Systems has received contracts with a combined value of about $65 million from the Dutch MoD for additional digital soldier-borne and vehicular systems, as part of a broader Royal Netherlands Army modernisation programme.
The Israeli company announced on 16 December that it will supply digital soldier systems and vehicular integration of ‘improved combat network capabilities’, including TORCH-X dismounted C2 systems and E-LynX software-defined radios systems.
The solutions to be provided under this $50 million, three-year contract are designed to address unique requirements that were presented by the Netherlands Defence Material Organization and field-tested by Royal Netherlands Army troops.
