AMMAN Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Bisher Al Khasawneh on Tuesday inaugurated the trial operation of the first route of the Bus Rapid Transit project, marking the completion of this vital public transport project in the capital, Amman, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Khasawneh listened to a briefing from Amman Mayor Yousef Shawarbeh on the importance of this public transport project in Amman.

AMMAN () Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Bisher Al Khasawneh on Monday attended the signing ceremony of an agreement to establish a phosphate washing plant.
The Jordan Phosphate Mines Company (JPMC) and Ideal Advanced Manufacturing Company signed the agreement. The total cost of the project is estimated at $85 million and is expected to finish in 23 months, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

AMMAN Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Bisher Al Khasawneh on Sunday during a Cabinet meeting affirmed that Jordan and its government are always working to confront all those who aim to destabilise the basic pillars of Jordanian society, its values and religious and cultural heritage, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He stated that threatening people’s safety and inciting actions against the Kingdom’s values, social heritage and institutions will be addressed with firmness to prevent the destabilisation of society.
PM directs ministries, public departments to tighten COVID-19 prevention measures

AMMAN Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Bisher Al Khasawneh on Sunday directed all ministries and public departments to tighten monitoring procedures on defence orders and regulations, mainly Defence Order No. 32 that regulates the work of non-inoculated people.
Chairing a Cabinet session, Khasawneh highlighted the importance of Defence Order No. 32 to guarantee the safety of employees and workers in the public and private sectors and to stop the spread of the virus, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The prime minister also called for preparing lists on the number of vaccinated employees and those who conduct PCR tests. He added that these lists should be updated weekly and referred to the Prime Ministry.
