NOWSHERA: Federal Minister for Defence Pervez Khattak on Saturday welcomed the Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s suggestion to bring a no-trust move in the parliament to de-seat the prime minister and change the incumbent government.
“Former president Asif Ali Zardari believes in democracy and knows better the political and constitutional ways to bring about a change in the parliament. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has talked about the supremacy of the Constitution and democracy, which we welcome,” the defence minister said this during a gathering in Manki Sharif near here.
He added that opposition parties can bring a no-confidence motion against the prime minister and the National Assembly speaker and the government would face it with an open heart.About the Broadsheet firm, Pervez Khattak said that it was the issue of Musharraf’s tenure and the incumbent government had nothing to do with it.

NOWSHERA: Federal Minister for Defence Pervez Khattak on Monday alleged that former rulers had made the country bankrupt by plundering the national kitty and stashed away the wealth in the foreign lands.
“Former president Asif Ali Zardari, ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif and Maulana Fazlur Rahman have joined hands to hide own alleged corruption and the plunder committed during their previous governments,” he told a party joining gathering.
The defence minister said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will never give NRO to all those, who had plundered the country with both hands. He alleged that Maulana Fazlur Rahman had no business but he owned properties worth billions of rupees in various cities of the country.

ISLAMABAD: PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Thursday that the party, under the umbrella of the 10-party opposition alliance Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), would take out rallies from different areas of Rawalpindi and Islamabad on Jan 19 that would merge into one big rally before heading towards the office of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in the capital, reported a private news channel.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad along with other party leaders, she said the rally was being organised to get a decision from the ECP that it is not giving since 2014 . She was referring to a foreign funding case against the PTI, which was filed in November 2014 by Akbar S Babar, a founding member of the ruling party.
