His wife Laura left their home in Kinston and arrived in Nevada to be by her husband s side. Doctors believed that if Dawson did pull through, he would have brain damage because his oxygen intake was low for several weeks. They told her that I, in fact, was going to die, Dawson said. That I only had a 2% chance to live. Please sign up for CBN Newsletters and download the CBN News app to ensure you keep receiving the latest news from a distinctly Christian perspective.
In February, family members arranged for Dawson to be flown on a private plane to a hospital in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
The first all-Black lineup in the NHL brings back memories for Nova Scotian Percy Paris. He was in the same spot about 50 years ago as part of the first all-Black line in Canadian university hockey in the early 1970s.

A historic night for Black athletes in the NHL brought back memories for Nova Scotian Percy Paris of his own days on the ice.

On Thursday, we experienced the unimaginable and a building which attaches to the Citadel Care Centre in St. Albert caught fire. Fortunately, all residents in both buildings were safely evacuated. I can’t say enough about the work and dedication displayed by our staff and the community with the number of people who showed up to help.
From all our amazing staff who were working and those who came in, to the many health and emergency professionals both off-duty and on (police, firefighters from surrounding communities, buses, Alberta Health Services and people from the community).
We apologize, but this video has failed to load.

Interesting that the province has just issued the next set of restrictions. One must ask: why has the government been so hesitant? Issuing restrictions piecemeal has not helped at all, given the increase in infections.
If you have ever worked on any health-care related construction projects, infection-control requirements are mandated and enforced. That approach to deal with COVID-19 has been obviously ignored. In construction projects, the work does not proceed unless the work area meets the required standards. The province has addressed COVID-19 from a political point of view instead of using protocols already available to AHS. Bad form Kenny.
