On tonight s episode of WWE SmackDown on FOX, Natalya and Tamina defeated Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler to win the WWE women’s tag team titles.
Tamina pinned Nia for the victory.
Following the big win, Natalya and Tamina cut promo which was then followed with fireworks.
ECW original New Jack (Jerome Young) has passed away at the age of 58.
The news of his sudden death is being reported by PWInsider who revealed he passed away following a heart attack in North Carolina where he resided.
Young s wife reported his passing to the website.
New Jack was a hugely controversial figure in the world of professional wrestling and best known for his time in the original ECW.

WWE Extreme Rules PPV To Be Held In Front Of Fans?

Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast (who broke the NXT moving to Tuesdays story) that WWE planned on holding ticketed live events for July 16–July 19.
Although not officially announced, this year’s
Extreme Rules PPV is scheduled for Sunday, July 18 from the WWE ThunderDome at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida.
In an update, the
Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast is reporting the weekend is looking a bit bigger with fans returning on July 16, July 18, and July 19. Those dates would line up for episodes of
SmackDown,
– According to a rumor reported by the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast Twitter account, it appears WWE will be having events with live fans in attendance on July 16, July 18, and July 19. This is an update from Mat Men’s earlier report that fans would be returning to WWE events on July 16.
The tweet wrote, “July’s return with fans is looking bigger than anticipated…#July16 #July18 #July19” The Mat Men Pro Wrestling show has broken reliable wrestling news in the past, including that NXT would be permanently moving to Tuesdays.
Previously, it was reported by PWInsider earlier this month that July 18 would be the date for WWE’s annual Extreme Rules type event for 2021. Last year, it was The Horror Show at Extreme Rules.
