Pulwama (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], April 27 (ANI): After the surge in COVID-19 cases in the Valley, the vaccination drive has been intensified in the Pulwama district of South Kashmir.
Speaking to ANI, Shabir Ahmad Raina, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama said around 66,000 people have already been vaccinated in the district and informed that the administration has a target to vaccinate more than 3 lakh people. After this second wave, we have intensified our vaccination drive. We have a target to vaccinate more than 3 lakh people. Around 66,000 people have already been vaccinated. We are also going to make eight COVID care centres for the benefit of people, he said.

Director-General of Health Services (DGHS) Dr Sunil Kumar on Sunday said that vaccine and COVID appropriate behaviour are two things that are key to break the chain of coronavirus infections. He made this statement while addressing a joint conversation on issues related to the COVID-19 situation with Director of AIIMS (Delhi) Doctor Randeep Guleria, Professor and Head of Department of Medicine AIIMS Doctor Naveet Wig, and Chairman of Medanta Doctor Naresh Trehan.

Lucknow, April 26 : The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh has placed an order for one crore Covid-19 vaccine doses for the third phase of the vaccination drive, beginning May 1.
In a statement, the chief minister said, Uttar Pradesh government has placed an order for 1 crore doses of anti-COVID vaccines for the vaccination drive beginning May 1. An order of 50-50 lakh doses has been placed for both indigenous vaccine manufacturers.
