Eyes fixed on giant screens, staff at the Shougang headquarters of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (BOCOG) are deep in concentration as they process and interpret the fast-arriving information.
With snow and sliding sports tested in February, the Games main operation center is now focusing its attention on a 10-day ice sports test program with a series of events dubbed Experience Beijing .
Staff are working across a wide variety of areas such as venue communication, catering, medical care and epidemic prevention, security, and transportation.

Beijing, Apr 1 (efe-epa).- Five of the venues that will host the 2022 Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games will be on trial from Thursday until Apr. 10 with a series of local competitions.
What will be the Olympic and Paralympic ice hockey, speed skating and wheelchair curling venues, among others, will be subjected to the demands of 700 Chinese athletes and coaches for the next 10 days, state newspaper China Daily reported Thursday.
According to the source, these tests are being carried out “under careful protocols for Covid-19” to “ensure the safety of all participants during the global health crisis.”
Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics logo revealed

The winner of the vote, which was opened to the public on March 6 on the milanocortina2026.org website, is named Logo Futura. It captured 871,000 votes from 169 countries, and 74% of the overall vote, so was a resounding win.
This marks the first time that an Olympics logo has been decided by the public. Given the amount of feverish interest that Olympics logos tend to generate, it sort of makes sense to open the final decision to a public judgement, though it’s hard not to feel somewhat underwhelmed by the two choices on offer.
