British Parliamentarians stand in solidarity with Kashmiris

Pakistan High Commission London organized a webinar to mark Kashmir Solidarity Day.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - British Parliamentarians and other speaker at a Parliamentary Webinar hosted by the High Commission for Pakistan, London on Friday strongly condemned the gross human rights violations of the Kashmiri people being committed by Indian occupation forces.
The webinar held to mark Kashmir Solidarity Day was participated by a large number of cross-party British Members of Parliament (MPs) from both Houses of the Parliament, eminent scholars, academcs, members of the civil society and British friends of Kashmir.

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir Shehryar Khan Afridi on Thursday said that the Parliament would act as a new center to push Kashmir diplomacy.
While addressing the participants of a Seminar titled “Emerging Dynamics of Kashmir Issue: Predicament and Prospects” held under the auspices of the Youth Association of Pakistan, Shehryar Afridi said that the Parliamentary Committee is engaging the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and other relevant bodies to ensure level playing fields to Pakistani and Kashmiri activists on the digital platforms.

Asks world to try Indian army for war crimes being committed in Kashmir
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir Shehryar Khan Afridi on Thursday said that Pakistan would keep raising the Kashmir issue on all legal, human rights, and political forums until and unless the Kashmir dispute is resolved.
While addressing the participants of a seminar held under the aegis of the Institute of Regional Studies (IRS) and the Kashmir Committee in Islamabad, Shehryar Afridi said that India’s Hindutva regime should be tried for committing war crimes being committed in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Islamabad:Chairman Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir urged the youth to keep raising their voices against the Indian atrocities in the India-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir
Mr Afridi was speaking at the prize distribution ceremony of the declamation contest ‘#speakforfreedom’ organised by Institute of Regional Studies (IRS) in collaboration with Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir here Monday.
Mr Afridi was of the view that while India was ruled by one of the most extremist political forces, it had still projected its image of a shining country in the world. He urged the youth to use the internet and social media platform to raise voice for the Kashmiris and also to spend time to educate themselves on the history and evolution of the Kashmir dispute.
Use of digital media vital to counter Indian lies: AJK President
Islamabad, January 21, 2021 (PPI-OT): The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Sardar Masood Khan has said that the nation will have to rise above all political, factional and personal interests, in order to effectively and vociferously present Kashmir issue before the international community. He urged the youth to use the digital space to counter India’s false propaganda considering it their national obligation.
The AJK President made these remarks while addressing the Re-launching Ceremony of the Digital Component of Jammu and Kashmir Self-Determination Movement-International (JKSDMI), co-organized by Youth Parliament Pakistan and Pak Affairs. The event was also addressed by Mr Shehryar Afridi, Chairman Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir and Raja Najabat Hussain, Chairman JKSDMI.
