NEW DELHI: Amid thin attendance on the first day of the Lok Sabha, MPs sought an early conclusion of the second half of the Budget session due to Assembly elections in four states and a UT.
While the session is scheduled to conclude on April 8 while polling begins on March 27.

Hubballi : , March 3 (IANS) The Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Prahlad Joshi on Tuesday said that the ruling BJP is certainly embarrassed over release of the sex CD involving Karnataka Water Resource Minister Ramesh Jarakiholi.
Reacting to reports before leaving to New Delhi in Hubballi, the Union Minister said that he would speak about this issue with party high command in detail in New Delhi on Wednesday. This matter needs to be investigated thoroughly from all angles, he said.
He added that BJP is known for its discipline and culture. This episode is an eye opener for all those who are in public life. They should remain clean always or otherwise, he said.
