World Cup winning defender Abby Dahlkemper joins Man City Women
Manchester City have signed 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup winner Abby Dahlkemper on a two-and-a-half year contract.
A seasoned professional and a key figure for the USWNT, the defender makes the switch to the Barclays FA Women’s Super League after four seasons with North Carolina Courage in the NWSL.
She has since won the SheBelieves Cup (2018 and 2020), Tournament of Nations and CONCACAF Women’s Championship (2018), FIFA Women’s World Cup (2019) and most recently in 2020, the CONCACAF Women’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament with the USWNT.

Real Betis reached an agreement with Juan Carlos Amorós, who will take over their women’s team until 30 June 2021, with the option of an extra year.
Amorós had spent nearly a decade at Tottenham Hotspur, guiding the team into the Barclays FA Women’s Super League alongside joint head coach Karen Hills.
After departing Spurs just a few weeks ago, he will now begin his first adventure in the Primera Iberdrola this Monday.
The first task will be ensure Betis stay up, as they are currently just goal-difference off the bottom of Spain’s 18-team top tier, with seven points from 14 games and five defeats in a row.
Fernandes scored three goals and contributed three assists in United s Premier League matches during the month of December, helping them climb to their current position at the top.
