Jack Lenor Larsen
EAST HAMPTON, N.Y. December 22, 2020 Weaver, designer, collector, gardener, author, world traveler, entrepreneur, teacher, and cultural scholar, Jack Lenor Larsen was mentor to textile connoisseurs, designers, artisans and artists throughout his eventful and gratifying 93 years. He died peacefully on the evening of December 22, 2020, of natural causes in East Hampton, N.Y., at LongHouse Reserve, the 16-acre garden and arts center that is his legacy. Larsen’s, companion of more than 30 years, Peter Olsen, was at his side.
A memorial service will be announced in the near future.
For those who wish to honor Larsen, he would appreciate nothing more than a contribution to the Jack Lenor Larsen Endowment Fund, established to support the maintenance of and programming at his beloved LongHouse Reserve.

Annamarie Tendler, the wife of comedian John Mulaney, has deleted her Instagram days after he entered into rehab.
Page Six broke the story on the comedian’s stint in rehab on December 21st, in which it was confirmed by close sources that he had relapsed.
The ex-SNL comedian checked into a facility in Pennsylvania for cocaine and alcohol addiction, which he has previously been open about and used as stand-up material.

âLand, Sea, Community â Coastal Climate Resilienceâ is the focus of the 2021 Virtual Film & Lecture Series presented by the Essex County Greenbelt Association.
The lineup, featuring six events from Wednesday, Jan. 6, through Wednesday, March 24, focuses on the effect of climate change on coastal areas.

William Bill Dec, 95, of Lewes passed away peacefully Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020, at Beebe Healthcare, Lewes. He was born April 3, 1925, in Brooklyn, N.Y., son of the late William and Anna (Stin) Dec. Bill resided in Massapequa, N.Y., and Newark, before moving to Lewes with his late wife Cindy.
Mr. Dec attended Oberlin College and University of Michigan. He was a proud U.S. Navy veteran, having honorably served for three years during World War II. After his service, Mr. Dec built a 25-plus year career working for major New York advertising firms. He owned many art galleries, the last one being William s Gallery in Chesapeake City, Md. Mr. Dec also worked as an art instructor at New York University, Parsons School of Design and Adelphi University.

Angela Dominguez is the award-winning author and author-illustrator of a number of picture books, including Mary Had a Little Llama and Mango, Abuela, and Me (the latter written by Meg Medina), both Pura Belpré Illustration Honor winners, and the Stella Díaz series. Her forthcoming books include Stella Díaz Dreams Big and I Love You Baby Burrito
. Dominguez is also an instructor at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. She recently spoke with PW about how her teaching inspires her work, and the inspiration behind her character Stella Díaz. She also shared how she integrates STEAM, Spanish, activism, and diversity themes into her popular middle grade series.
