Today, Aaron Crook, RPS COVID-19 Health and Safety Compliance Liaison reported that two members of the Farmingville Elementary School (FES) community tested positive for COVID-19.
These individuals were in the FES building while potentially infectious to others on Monday, April 19. Contact tracing for these cases has been completed.
Crook conferred with Town of Ridgefield Health Director Ed Briggs and RHS Medical Advisor Dr. James Ahern about these cases.

Saturday, April 10
A member of the
Farmingville Elementary School (FES) community tested positive for COVID-19. This individual was not in the FES building during a period of time when they were potentially infectious to others. No contact tracing is needed.
Sunday, April 11
A member of the
Ridgefield High School (RHS) community tested positive for COVID-19. This individual was in the RHS building while potentially infectious to others on Thursday, April 8 and Friday April 9. Contact tracing for this case has been completed.

This individual was in the FES building while potentially infectious to others on Monday, March 15 and Tuesday, March 16. Contact tracing for this case has been completed.
