Agrani Bank AGM killed in Magura road crash
An official of Agrani Bank was killed in a head-on collision between two motorcycles near Ichakhada Bazar area of Magura on Tuesday night.
The deceased was identified as Md Nazrul Islam, hailing from Naldanga area in Kaliganj upazila of Jhenaidah.
He was an Assistant General Manager (AGM) of the main branch of Agrani Bank in the district.
Abdul Gafur Mollah, second officer of Magura Agrani Bank, said the motorcycle collided with another bike coming from opposite direction on which the banker was riding to go to his home after finishing his office duty, leaving him seriously injured.

Three people, including the wife and son of a newly-elected municipality mayor, were killed as a microbus and a bus collided head-on on the Dhaka-Khulna highway in Faridpur s Nagarkanda upazila last night.
Nimay Sarkar, who was elected mayor of the Nagarkanda municipality as an Awami League candidate in the February 14 polls, was also critically injured.
Omar Faruq, officer-in-charge of Bhanga Highway Police Station, said the accident happened in Kailar Mour area around 9:15pm.
He said the bus was heading towards Dhaka and the victims were travelling in the microbus going in the opposite direction.

MADARIPUR, Dec 23, 2020 (BSS) – Three riders of a motorcycle were killed in a collision between their bike and a truck in Rajoir upazila of the district last night.
The accident occurred at around 8 pm last night in Alamdosta area on Dhaka-Barisal Highway.
The deceased were identified as Shahin Howlader, 18, Anik Munshi, 21, and Shakil Fokir, 22, hailed from Daradia village in Rajoir upazila.
Officer-in-Charge of Rajoir Thana Sheikh Mohammod Sadi said Shahin and Anik succumbed to their injuries at Faridpur Medical College and Hospital this morning while Shakil succumbed to his injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital this noon.
