This decision doesn’t bode well for two remaining festivals, Start.ca Rocks the Park at Harris Park (July 15-16) and London Ribfest & Craft Beer Festival at Victoria Park on the Civic Holiday long weekend.
Jones Entertainment Group has said they will make a decision early next week about the 2021 Start.ca Rocks The Park concert series while Family Shows Canada has also said it will wait as long as possible before deciding about this year’s Ribfest.
Caxaj said a virtual Sunfest “is the only viable option at a time when national and provincial borders continue to be closed and many places around the world are still in different stages of lockdown and recovery.”
